Factory Manager

IApparel International Group is seeking to appoint a Factory Manager to lead and take full ownership of a key manufacturing operation.

This role is suited for a proven industry professional with strong operational and leadership capabilities, who is able to stabilize, optimize, and elevate factory  performance through structured systems and disciplined execution.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, ensuring consistent product quality, and supporting sustainable business growth. 

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and integrate all core functions: Production, PPC, Quality, Engineering, Shipping, HR/Administration, and Finance
  • ensure consistent delivery of on-time, right-quality production at optimal cost
  • Drive operational discipline through systems such as ERP, Lean, 7S, and total Preventive Maintenance (TPM)
  • Develop and implement accurate capacity planning models (SMV, CM, manpower, material readiness) using a Plan-to-Earn approach
  • Build organizational capability through training, leadership development, and succession planning


Job Duties

  • Provide overall leadership direction for the factory, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations
  • Oversee production planning and execution to achieve on-time delivery and output targets
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes meet required quality standards and customer expectations
  • Manage factory financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and resource utilization
  • Lead workforce management, including employee performance, discipline, and development
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and ethical working environment
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational areas


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in apparel manufacturing, with direct factory leadership exposure
  • String knowledge of apparel production processes (cutting, sewing, finishing, packing)
  • Proven expertise in capacity planning, SMV, CM, and production balancing
  • Experience in implementing ERP systems and operational excellence frameworks
  • Strong  understanding of cost management, productivity improvement, and performance metrics
  • Commercially aware with the ability to link operations to cost and profitability outcomes
  • Hands-on leadership style with strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
