Report to: BOM Manager
Job Responsibilities :
• To provide accurate and most efficient Bill of material (BOM) to make the product, timely to support
Business Development Team to secure order
and continue to make improvement to reduce bulk material consumption.
• To provide only approved marker to factory
Job Duties
• To get pattern information from system and calculated best possible or available fabric width, order ratio option and other parameter to “Auto run marker for 15 minutes to generate markers.
• To pick the most efficiency marker, do minor fine-tuning to optimize the material usage. If the 15 minutes
run time do not produce above 85% fabric utilization efficiency marker, to run Auto marker for a longer period
to turn out more marker options.
• To update marker information and calculate fabric consumption in ERP-EZI BOM. Export mini marker system and save in ERP-EZI for Marker manager / Executive approval. (All system will be provided and will be train)
• To calculate the product sewing trims and update in Bill of Material (BOM) in ERP-EZI for marker manager /
executive approval.
Bulk Production Marker
• To receive “approved for production” and amend the pattern according to buyer's comments in system. Re-run auto maker and fine-tuning to achieve the best efficiency for production.
• To update marker information and calculate fabric consumption in ERP-EZI BOM. Export mini marker from
lectra’s Damino and save in ERP-EZI for Marker manager / Executive approval before releasing to factory for
production.
Handling Complication
• To handle complicated Pattern, draw optional paper pattern, to sew complicated feature feasibility sample to
assess the workability of the operation before finalizing the pattern.
• To handle complicated construction, draw optional paper pattern, work with IE to sew complicated feature
feasibility sample to assess the workability of the operation.
• To handle complicated marker, draw and print paper pattern, call for Technical Manager, MERCHANDISER
and PD Manager to discuss fabric limitations from fabric supplier and work out the best way to product the
most efficiency marker suitable for bulk production.
• To handle complicated embellishment, draw pattern for PD Manager to arrange fabric, garment panel or sew
trial or mockup sample, for Embellishment House to do trial sampling.
• To handle complicated Wet / Dry Process, draw pattern for PD manager to arrange fabric pillowcase,
garment panel or sew trial or mockup sample for wet/dry processing house to do trial sampling.
• Other duties as required and that may occasionally be necessary to support the business
Requirements
• Have Pattern making working experience in bag production manufacturing.
• A strong communicator with excellent spoken and written English, Chinese (Mandarin) is a must
• Proficiency in computer, Microsoft Word/ Excel, ERP and other office applications.
• Highly motivated, self-initiated, customer-oriented, willing to achieve objectives with clear vision.
• Presentable, responsible, result-oriented and a good team player and interpersonal skills.
• Have a strong sense of urgency, immediately report with options and resolution.
