Job Duties
- Order Management: Analyze and manage bag orders from product development through to final shipment, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
- Sample & Material Coordination: Organize product samples and materials for customer approval in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
- Costing & Profitability: Ensure order profitability by purchasing materials at the best possible cost while maintaining the required quality standards.
- Quality Control: Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure all bags meet customer quality expectations and specifications.
- Timely Deliveries: Oversee production timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of products.
- Supplier Communication: Liaise with suppliers to negotiate prices, manage lead times, and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues to avoid production delays or quality concerns.
- Customer Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates and managing expectations.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related fields. Courses or diplomas in Fashion or Product Design are a plus.
- Experience: At least 4 years of working experience in merchandising, specifically in bags, with a proven track record in product management and order execution.
- Language Skills: Strong communicator with excellent spoken and written English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems, and other office applications.
- Organizational Skills: Strong planning and multitasking abilities, able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work under tight deadlines.
- Independence: Capable of working independently in managing the full sourcing and merchandising process, from product development to shipment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A quick thinker with a sense of urgency, able to report issues and provide solutions promptly.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities, able to handle discussions with international buyers and suppliers independently.
- Travel: Willing to be stationed at the headquarters in Cambodia, with business travel as required.
