Senior Sewing Supervisor

I Apparel is looking for a Senior Sewing Supervisor to join our team.

Job Responsibility

The Sewing Supervisor manage Sewing Lines and is responsible for: 
 - The Sewing Lines Efficiency, Quality in conformity with Brand approval, On time in full shipment and Profitability
 - Ensuring Factory rules and policies are followed 
 - Ensuring manufacturing policies and procedures are followed
 - Establish 7S workplace (Sort, Set-in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety, Spirit) and a safe working environment
 - Cultivating Lean thinking aims at removing wastes from work processes. The 8 wastes are Transportation, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Overproduction, Over-processing, Defects and Employee       talent utilization.


Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day Sewing Lines Production operations consist of:
    -  Sewing Supervisor (in-Line) job duties
    - Sewer & Loader job duties
  • To follow the training and certifying program to qualify herself and the Sewing Team before assigning them to their work duty.
  • Follow budget headcount, allocate Human resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
  • To work with Office team on
    - Employee screening, recruiting, training, development, engagement, retention, motivation and performance.
    - Handling Grievances
    - Taking disciplinary action on bad discipline employee
    - Organize event, transport, facility upkeep (7S), security and host visitors
    - Drive Environment Social Governance (ESG)
    - Manage daily attendance and approval in office EZI
    - New manpower request in office EZI.
  • To get briefing from Asst. Sewing Manager on
    - Brand Quality Standard
    - Product Production Instructions (PI) on the
      -- Product Quality call-out and requirements 
      -- Material specifications, usage and control
      -- Product production processes
      -- Product critical path and operation 
      -- Established the preventive ways to make product right first time (RFT)
      -- Production Cut-off time 
      -- Final inspection & ship date


Requirements

  • Possess Diploma or school certificate or related
  • Fluent and able to write in English & Khmer
  • Proven experience as sample supervisor or relevant role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Station in Cambodia
