Pattern Technician

Pattern Technicians will be determining the buyer’s needs and come up with appropriate design solutions. You are also responsible for developing patterns for bulk production.

Job Duties

  • Attend product development meetings, call out on product critical paths & operations, and make early corrections to address them during the development stage with the customer.
  • To follow given clear written preventive and execution instructions in Apparel Ezi Call-out to guide his pattern team to handle product critical points to be production viable and meet the Brand requirement.
  • To work with the IE team on the machinery, attachment, folder, guide, template, and methodology used to shorten product cycle time, so as to guide her team to do the correct pattern and the needed allowance.
  • To Timely draft with his/her team, a quotation pattern for the BOM team to prepare markers and calculate materials consumption for Business Development Team to prepare a quotation to the buyer within 24 hours.
  • Communicate directly with the brand technical team to resolve technical calls out on the fit and construction and work with the team to make immediate corrections in 2D or 3D patterns (CLO).
  • Always put product safety first when making products to ensure the product meets USA “CPSIA” and Europe "GPSA" requirements.
  • To arrange for his/her team to draft the “approved for production” pattern in the Lectra system and copy the file to save in Apparel EZI for the factory to use.
  • To approve Manufacturing Instruction (MI) and bulk pattern in Apparel Ezi.
  • To submit monthly Pattern Team KPI report to Technical Manager on time. Section cost II. Pattern out-put and Cost III. Pattern cost by Brand. Other duties as required and that may occasionally be necessary to support the business.


Requirements

  • Diploma or course in pattern making & marker drafting or fashion-related field.
  • Apparel CAD System, Lectra System preferred.
  • Have pattern-making working experience in garment production manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in computer, Microsoft Word/Excel, ERP, and other office applications.
  • Have a strong sense of urgency, and immediately report with options and resolutions.
  • A strong communicator with excellent spoken and written English.
  • To be stationed in Cambodia Headquarters.
